Digital Product Innovation – Distr@l – Promotion for dwsquare !
“TecCond – Technology Condition Monitoring” is an innovative system for monitoring the real-time condition of technical systems” and it is part of the Distr@l – support program of the State of Hesse.
The project is developed under the direction of dwsquare PartG mbB and in cooperation with Prof. Dr.-Ing. E. Kirchner of the TU Darmstadt, department pmd and the company Seibert System Solutions GmbH & Co.KG.
Innovations here are:
Model-based condition monitoring
Real-time monitoring with near zero latency
Use of dynamic instead of static maintenance intervals
Use of novel calculation models based on artificial intelligence (AI) such as Machine Learning.
Within the TecCond project, an approach for the end-to-end digitization of the product creation of technical systems is being developed using the example of an autonomous transport system from development to production to maintenance.
TecCond represents an evolutionary step in condition monitoring, since not only simple information is collected, but knowledge is generated from existing data.
Jan Wenzel of dwsquare explains this:
“Mechanical components are fundamentally stressed, which leads to continuous fatigue of the components. The operating behavior itself does not change, however. Only when “first errors” occur, conventional approaches react. “TecCond has a model-based approach with which it will be possible to make statements about a complete system WITHOUT changes in the data.
